Getting to Italy’s southernmost island is really easy. Lampedusa has had an airport since 1968, which has been International for several years now: ICAO code LMP.
In winter, there are only flights from Falcone e Borsellino airport in Palermo and Fontanarossa airport in Catania. From late spring there are flights from Italy’s main airports and, as of last year, from Malta.
The main cities from which it is possible to reach Lampedusa are: Rome, Catania, Palermo, Verona, Milan, Venice, Bologna, Malta, Bergamo, Torino, Genova.
Lampedusa can be reached by ferry from Port Empedocle in Sicily, with daily morning or evening sailings, weather permitting. The ferry companies that go to Lampedusa are: Siremar Spa and Traghetti Delle Isole Spa. To reach Lampedusa by Hydrofoil, you need to contact the company Ustica Lines, which usually goes from Port Empedocle to Lampedusa between May and October.

Rome Fiumicino Airport
Flights to and from Rome Fiumicino airport will be offered by the following airlines: Blu-Panorama, Alitalia and Vueling
Blu-Panorama: will fly to and from Lampedusa every Tuesday– Thursday – Sunday, starting from 03 June 2018 and ending on 30 September 2018.
Alitalia every Saturday – Sunday, starting on 24 June 2017 and ending on 9 September 2017.
There will be a second weekly (Monday-Friday) flight from 03 June 2018 to 08 September 2018.
The airline Vueling will fly to and from Rome Fiumicino twice a week, Wednesday – Saturday, starting from 28 March 2018 and ending on 27 October 2018
Catania Fontanarossa Airport
Domestic flights to and from Catania airport, within territorial continuity.
Currently operated by Mistral air with Atr72 airplanes.
Three flights a week: Monday - Wednesday - Friday.
Palermo Falcone e Borsellino Airport
There are flights to and from Palermo Falcone e Borsellino airport all year round and they are currently operated by Mistral Air.
There are four flights a day Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday-Sunday, adn three flights on monday wednesday friday
Flights to and from Verona-Villafranca airport are operated by the following airlines: Neos Air, Blu-Express and Volotea.
Neos Air will operate flights every Saturday-Sunday starting from 09 June 2018 and ending on 06 October 2018.
Blu-Panorama will operate flights to and from Lampedusa every Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday starting from 03 June 2018 and ending on 30 September 2018.
Volotea will operate flights every Saturday/Sunday, starting from 26 May 2018 and ending on October 2018.
Milan Linate and Malpensa Airports
Alitalia, Meridiana and Neos Air will fly to and from Linate and Malpensa airports.
Linate Airport: Alitalia every Saturday-Sunday from 23/06/2018 to 08/09/2018.
Malpensa Airport: Neos Air, the top airline for flights to Lampedusa, has flights every Saturday/Sunday starting from 26/05/2018 and 13/10/2018.

Only the airline Volotea will fly from Venice

Bologna-Borgo Panigale Airport
In 2018 the airlines that will connect Bologna with Lampedusa will be:
Blue-Panorama will offer flights on Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday starting from 22/04/2018 and ending on 21/10/2018.
Neos Air will fly from Bologna every Saturday/Sunday, starting from 20/05/2018 and ending on 21/10/2018.
From Genova Sestri airoport the only airlines will be Volotea from 26/05/2018 to ottobre 2018, every Saturday.
